InterSoma
InterSoma is a transformational somatic therapy that actively engages clients in their healing process. Clients become aware of the holding patterns that contribute to acute or chronic tensions and pain, and uncover any underlying emotions or thought patterns that influence the physical bracing. With the guidance of a practitioner, clients learn to access and transform deeply held patterns at their root.
What happens during an InterSoma session?
We begin seated in chairs, building trust and safety in a present-moment relational field. Through conversation we discuss what themes you are currently exploring in life, your goals with the work, and any relevant background life history. Then we move to a bodywork table where the client remains clothed. We work together to release and shift areas of holding in your physical body with manual techniques. This often involves opening to feeling emotions: letting them be identified and expressed. Overtime, lasting shifts occur that ripple out and positively affect many aspects of a person’s life.
